I ordered a full size larger--a 9 rather than the 8 I generally wear--and they fit just right. I wore them ONCE and the back seam started to come undone. Looking closely I found that the "shearling" lining is actually wool fuzz on a synthetic base, while the cuff is sheepskin. I was going to get them repaired but now I am going to send them back. I would have appreciated knowing that they were lined in wool. Also, you cannot wear them with the cuff up without the seam showing. The cuff is black but the lining is white.

This was ordered in an 11 after reading another reviewer's comment, and my toe touched the front of the boot (so I returned them, but with regrets....these are well made and very attractive as well as comfortable and warm).

Sizing, March 5, 2009 This review is from: Barbo Women's Gabrielle Boot (Apparel) These boots are wonderful.....BUT...The sizes of these boots are incorrect. A size 9 USA = size 40 European. I wear a size 9 1/2, since there were no 1/2 sizes i ordered a size 10 (larger). It is too small. So now I need to order a size 11 BIG difference!!
