Made for Alaska with style, January 5, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Baffin Women's Katie Snow Boot (Apparel) Just got my boots today and I am extremely happy! I started shopping for boots a few months ago, but could not find boots that were both functional and stylish. I finally found these and based on the positive feedback I chose to try these. Since placing the order I was filled with buyers remorse as I had never bought footwear online, let alone snow boots! What if they were thin and didn't keep my feet warm? What if their sizing was off? What if the tread is crappy? After wearing them most of the day, (It snowed just this morning and it is sub zero out)I have to say right now they are great! Comfy and warm and the tread kicks butt in the snow (no ice to test yet). I am normally a size 71/2 wide and bought an 8 and without two socks they are a bit big but I knew that going in. I wanted to be able to wear a few pairs of socks when I wore them. With socks they fit snug but not too tight.

Nice but run big, December 9, 2011 This review is from: Baffin Women's Katie Snow Boot (Apparel) I loved these boots and when they arrived they looked exactly like the pictures online. I am returning them because they are way too big and the shaft is shorter than I thought it would be. I'm a 9-9 1/2-10 depending on the shoe and I'm pretty sure these are a full size too big. I thought I would play it safe and order on the larger end anticipating wearing thick socks but even those don't make a difference. Overall the boot is lovely and if you are looking for a mid calf option this would be a great fit.
