When they arrived I was pleasantly surprized at how classy (even with studs) and stylish they were. The black is not a true, dark black - it like a washed out black - very cool along with the gunmetal studs. However I wore them out that night and my heel continued to slip up, so the shoe seems to run a little large, which was a big surprize.
